Eco therapy, very simply, is therapy out in nature.
Client and therapist agree on a nearby place in nature (this can be a park, a lake, a meadow, a single tree) and we spend up to fifty minutes there, asking nature to talk. The most surprising healing happens when we allow nature to have a voice. This type of therapy is particularly suitable for young adults who often spend most of their time indoors and realise that they are becoming anxious or depressed. Time in nature and the healing that takes place there, is sorely missing from our current go-go-go culture. Eco Therapy allows the client to explore, learn and discover new insights in their therapy journey.
